Attendees will gain a practical understanding of how institutional investors are applying a systemic lens to advance long-term portfolio performance while shaping more stable, inclusive, and sustainable systems.

Amar Nigam
Economic Inclusion Strategist at Koppa

Amar Nigam is Principal for the upcoming Koppa Capital Fund and a member of the VC Lab Venture Capital Accelerator. They have been instrumental in designing and developing fund strategies and partnerships that advance equitable finance, including playing a central role in Potluck Fund’s landmark $20M grantmaking initiative for LBTI+ women, where they led bespoke accelerator development proposals.

At Koppa, Amar drives program design across inclusive finance platforms, economic inclusion networks, and data infrastructure while spearheading the creation of new fund partnerships to expand Koppa Capital’s impact, and they also helped lead the global pilot of the Inclusive Finance Forum held at Deutsche Bank NYC in early October as well as the Ring the Bell for LGBTQ+ Equality in partnership with three UN agencies, coordinating 15 stock exchanges worldwide to ring the bell in support of LGBTQ+ inclusion—to convene stakeholders across finance, multilateral institutions, and advocacy.

Previously, Amar worked in Goldman Sachs’ Global Banking & Markets division, where they contributed GBM’s Management & Strategy team, ESG investing research, and led the firm’s LGBTQ+ policy advocacy across the U.S. Southern region, while also helping to build Goldman Sachs’ LGBTQ+ community engagement strategy and forging partnerships to expand financing opportunities for LGBTQ+ communities nationwide. Their broader experience spans strategy, finance, and research roles with Coca-Cola Hong Kong, Acro Service Corporation, and Advanced Technology Systems.

Amar holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor with a focus on Politics, Philosophy, and Economics and Business from the Ross School of Business, and pursued advanced coursework in Public Finance and Financial Markets at the London School of Economics as well as coursework in Comparative Economic Systems in Vienna.


Monique Aiken
Managing Director at The Investment Integration Project

Monique Aiken is a strategist, systems thinker, author, founder, and podcaster with 25 years of experience in finance and impact. She joined TIIP as Managing Director in 2020. TIIP connects systems thinking with investing through its consulting and applied research practice. Its AI-enhanced SaaS platform, SAIL, the Systems Aware Investing Launchpad allows investors to learn about and implement “system-level investing” at their own pace.

Monique's career includes roles at Bank of America, Citi, Deutsche Bank, the Clinton Global Initiative, Tideline and Mission Investors' Exchange. Monique is also co-founder of Make Justice Normal, a nonprofit collective, for which she is host of their podcast, "Into the Record", and co-cofounder of the ReStarter Fund, an economic and climate justice initiative on a mission to be a small business lifeline in these times of polycrisis.

Monique holds an MBA from NYU Stern and a B.Sc. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
